The forward and back buttons are easily reachable (although if you have big hands I would suggest trying one out first). I really needed something that felt just right in my hands, because I am at the computer for hours every day and the Deathadder feels as good as it looks.

I do a lot of graphic design so I really need a mouse that is durable and the Deathadder has held up for about 4 months now with only a few minor scratches on the bottom. I have a Sony Vaio FW as my main computer and I am always moving around with it. One of the caveats I had when I was searching for a mouse was that it be durable. I picked up my Deathadder at Best Buy on sale (yea, I was surprised too)! The cord is three meters, I believe, and it is braided. I wanted to get a real mouse for awhile because I had been using a wireless mouse that ate up battery power like no other. I wish there was an adjustable weight system like some of Logitech's mice.

Sweat sticks to the plastic sides and solidifies so when you leave for couple minutes and come back, there's awful crud stuck to the sides of the mouse (yes, I do wash my hands often -_-). The build of the mouse is kinda questionable because it squeaks and emits a plastic to plastic "crunch" when I press the right mouse (the mouse is about a year old though). I'm not good at judging how sensitive the mouse is, but it seems better at tracking then my previous mice (and imo my Magic Mouse). The scroll is kinda sensitive, but the button is easy to press and doesn't move when down. Side and L/R buttons are very tactile and auditory. Buttons feel and sound amazing, second only to the sound and feel of my Apple Magic Mouse. No option to make the Razer logo stop pulsing and stay solid. The bottom of the mouse gets warm when on (?). Other than that, the mouse feels great but makes me sweat when using it because it's designed to be used by palm grippers. I have to kill the process and restart the program to change any of the settings. It works for about an hour, then whenever I hover over the icon in my menu bar, I just get a spinning beachball.

When I start up my Mac (which has a Samsung 830 SSD and goes from EFi->Lockscreen instantly) I have to wait an excess of 2 minutes just for Razer Synapse to start.

The software requires to connect to the internet on startup. The software always freezes up on my Mac running Mountain Lion. I just want to put out, Razer Synapse 2 sucks.

I would prefer to have two more buttons to change the dpi setting directly from the mouse, like in the Mamba.Accuracy: Perfect.Portability: Not a portable product anyway.I like:- Quality- Materials on surfaces- Response- Configurability- ComfortI don't like:- Synapse 2.0- Price- WiredConclusion:If I was to go for a wired gaming or all purpose mouse, that would be it.Even if it lacks some buttons and features, it is a complete suggestion for all purposes and normal gaming. Probably feels the best mouse on comfort at the moment.Form Factor: You can reach all buttons easily, but I would prefer not that flat button on the side.Configurability: Even with Synapse 2.0, which is a terrible software and for most users it gives many conflict problems, connection problems and other issues, the configurability and the way it works, when it does, is perfect. No sweating no slippery, perfect feeling.

Most of surface is covered by a rubberised material, which I love. Comfort: Perfect for both claw and palm grip.
